As the
environmental industry has evolved over time, so have the needs of our
industrial clients.
In the 1970's environmental regulations were first developed and
permit programs under the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act and
Resource Conservation/Recovery Act were implemented. During the
1980's the Superfund Program was growing and site assessment was the
major environmental priority. By the 1990's many of the major
contamination sites of the past had been characterized and some form
of remedy was either planned or implemented. The environmental
industry began to focus on a more pro-active and preventive approach
to environmental management.
