WATER RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

 As
the population continues to grow, the development, protection and
proper management of water resources will become more complex and
vital to communities. Some of the major issues facing water
suppliers include saltwater intrusion, aquifer pollution, changing
weather patterns and ever increasing demands. L.S. Sims &
Associates have years of experience in water resource
investigations. We have successfully developed water supplies
for municipal , industrial and agricultural clients. The staff
has designed and implemented successful exploratory drilling and
testing programs to quantify water resource availability in areas
where little information existed.

In addition,
staff members have worked with Management Districts in developing
programs that protect and effectively manage existing ground-water
resources.
The L.S. Sims & Associates team includes highly qualified hydrogeologists and engineers with many years of water resource experience. We have designed, implemented and evaluated numerous aquifer performance tests, necessary for wellfield design of sampling/analysis programs, monitor well networks and production wells. Collectively, our staff carries 40 years of experience in the design and evaluation of site-specific and regional groundwater flow modeling.
